GS TVET College SASCO Evander Campus To Give Out Information About Our Campus Activities To The Whole Student Population Of Our Campus.

Please take note that we are aware that the registration process is too Slowly, people end up being returned back Home due to the system that is being use by the college.
So we took a Genuine move and meet with the campus manager with regards to this frustrating Registration process and other related students struggles, below are the Resolutions.

■ Data captures will be added, to speed up the Process of Registrations for Both NCV and Report 191 students.

■ Closing date For Registration will be Extended to Next Week.

■ Application of Supplementary closing Date will also be extended to Next week

■ Supplementary Students will Soon Start to get Textbooks as that is still on confirmation process (we will keep you posted as soon as its confirmed)

Once leadership and consciousness runs away from people it doesn't announce

The farewell planning had contradictions... and We are glad we were able to sit down with management and sicking for a way out, the reason we pushed Fairwell to take place tomorrow is because we know most of you must travel back to homes and we wish you all safe journey on your back homes.

Attention to all level 4's

We highly believe that you received SMS's from the college which states that the Fairwell has been postponed.

We totally don't like what the management has done, because this was discussed in time and our fellow class rep's were also part of the meeting where everything was discussed, then now here comes the management with late update saying that the Fairwell is postponed, due to that they did not follow correct procedures this must tell that they dont take students serious, so we are looking forward to seat in a meeting with the management tomorrow so that they clarify what really happened.
We will give feedback to students ASAP,
Our fellow class rep's has done thier part so the fault lies with the with management.

We understand that you have to travel back to homes and time is ticking so we really need this Fairwell to be done ASAP.

All level 4's Demands a Fairwell they have been working so hard for the past years🙌🏼

An additional one month allowance to TVET students has been approved, a declaration letter must be signed by college principals not later than 4th of December 2020 which is today . Payment date will depend on how quickly the college submit the required information and will be communicated in due course.

Extension allowance are as follows:

Remember Evander campus is categorised as Urban meaning those who applied for Accommodation they will receive R2520 +R 290 which is personal care.

If you applied for transport R735+R290 which is personal care

Then for trimester 2 ... R 8400 for 3 months+ R2520 extension allowance + R290 your personal care.

We have an ID Document / rather a ID smart card, of our student by the name of Trevor ,doing level 3 who was writing at the CAFETERIA today

He must collect his ID Document by the gate , inform us if you happen to lose your ID at the campus we are capable of assisting in such matters also .

Unity will grow us to be batter parents to the upcoming generation. Restore a dignity of a black child!!!✋🏼

NSFAS WALLET FEEDBACK MEETING
DATE: 20 NOVEMBER 2020

(1).BLOCKED/LOCKED WALLET ACCOUNTS
-The SRC strongly emphasized the effectiveness of the platforms students are referred to e.g. (NSFAS Chart, Agent and emails) that this platforms are not much assisting our students and requested the Wallet department to do their job by unblocking and unlocking the wallets accounts of the affected students.

-NSFAS wallet department then committed themselves that they will work on the Stats(Database) of blocked/Locked WALLET accounts of these students.

-an interim task team will also be initiated to assist in unlocking and unblocking these wallet accounts, therefore these students there is no need for them to use the platforms that are not much assisting.

-NSFAS will prioritize these students and the College as well and by Next week they will be working tirelessly on the Stats of locked/Blocked WALLET accounts.

(2). MIS-MATCH
- there are forms at the Financial aid office that these affected students they must fill and we'll be submitted to Central office then to NSFAS in order for this students to be paid their allowances they've exactly applied for.

(3) UNVERIFIED
- these are students who need to update their cellphone numbers in the portal, if they they are funded haven't received an sms to activate their wallet, they must collect and fill up forms at the Financial aid office that should be emailed back to NSFAS.

(4). PAYEMENTS OF ALLOWANCES AND OUTSTANDING

- Students signed an agreement with NSFAS that indicates that NSFAS will pay them for a 10 months period.
-NSFAS also indicated that there is no directive or Approval From DHET of extending allowances.

*We have students who are fully paid for the 10 months.
* Students who are partially paid(because of blocked accounts, mismatch and unverified)
* T2 Students who have not been paid
-this means that if you have been paid for less than 10 months you still have an outstanding allowance but if you were paid an allowance covering 10 months even within the 10 months period you dont have an outstanding allowance.

NB: stats and figures of these students will be shared by Monday.

(5). SUPPLEMENTARY STUDENTS.
- we'll remember that there are students who were waiting for their results before they can apply for NSFAS and later an Open window period was opened for them to apply.
- Details of these students will be sent by Monday to NSFAS for follow up and checking how far are the applications currently.

(6). UNCHANGING FUNDING STATUSES
- these students must kindly foward their Details at the Financial aid office so that they can be sent to NSFAS and the officials committed as well to work immediately upon that stats.
