Today, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator was honoured to attend the Sasol Bridge to Work programme, Iphephe Farmers Day .

This event was held at Secunda Sasol Recreation club (Main Hall).
The college was represented by Perdekop Campus.

Students from Perdekop campus were showcasing agricultural products that have been produced by them through practical learning and hard work.
The products included eggs, spinach, onions, and beetroots.

Through this event, students got valuable skills such as marketing and teamwork in the agricultural sector.

Sbonga Sokhela from the Department of Small Business Development conducted a physical site visit at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator (CFERI) to engage with MSMEs that have undergone adequate mentorship.

The selected MSMEs are now expected to be prepared for market access opportunities or to upscale their existing market access initiatives.

Today, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator attended the MARKETPLACE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP at LRCC The City of God Auditorium in Rholihlahla Avenue, Tsakane Ext 1.

Over 150 learners from Grade 8 to graduates received key insights on entering the marketplace.
The event highlighted upcoming TVET College occupational programs and their role in preparing the youth for employment and entrepreneurship.

Stakeholders present included Ekurhuleni West TVET College, Ekurhuleni East TVET College, INTETHE Consultants, XtraClass.AI, and Standard Bank.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator attended the launch of the NYDA Phanda Thursday initiative in Embalenhle, held under the theme: “Servicing the Youth – Bringing Services and Opportunities Closer to the Youth.”

The initiative speaks directly to government’s commitment to expanding opportunities for young people to participate meaningfully in the economy.

Through the Department of Small Business Development and its agency, government continues to support youth-owned MSMEs through access to finance, incubation, business development services, equipment support, market access, and enterprise development programmes.

We were honoured to welcome representatives from the Department of Employment and Labour, Department of Social Development, and the Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Their support and insights contributed greatly to the success of the programme.

Entrepreneurship Student Ambassadors from Sibanesetfu Campus were formally introduced during the session.

The event provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and empowering emerging entrepreneurs.

We were honoured to welcome representatives from the Department of Health, the Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA), Nedbank-Fix Forward, and the Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Their support and insights contributed greatly to the success of the programme.

Entrepreneurship Student Ambassadors from Ermelo Campus were formally introduced during the session, including Nsuku Manzini a system developer and a student entrepreneur.

The event provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and empowering emerging entrepreneurs.
