SHS - Institute of Culinary Arts The Swiss Hotel School South Africa opened it's doors in 1995.

Now based at it's fabulous campus in Ferndale, Gauteng; The Swiss Hotel School is registered with The Department of Higher Education and Training. Offering CHE accredited degree in hospitality management as well as SAQA and QCTO accredited 3 year Professional Culinary Arts Programme (ProfCAP) SHS is considered one of the best hospitality business schools and culinary institutions in Africa. Culinary studies take place in our three kitchens with a full practical restaurant on campus. Hospitality Management studies are taught by a faculty made up of inspiring academics and hospitality management experts. Learners have the opportunity to complete their internships in various parts of the world including Switzerland, UK, USA, Europe and Australia. The Swiss Hotel School has an excellent reputation with International hospitality organizations as well as top companies in South Africa and has an association with BHMS in Switzerland that allows graduates to study Masters in Hospitality Management or Culinary Degree.
