Our Department of Civil Engineering Technology students officially launched its Lesotho Highlands Water Project Study Tour with an impactful academic visit to Lerotholi Polytechnic in Maseru.

This engagement was focused on building a cross-border community of practice, where aligning academic programs and exploring the evolving role of engineering technology took center stage.

The ‘student-to-student exchange’ offered profound insights into the shared ambitions and professional challenges of future engineers from both nations, highlighting the interconnected nature of our work in the built environment.

We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mrs. Seipati Mahao (Dean: School of the Built Environment) and Mr. Ntoane Lepota (Deputy Rector: Academic Affairs and Research)for their warm hospitality and for hosting our delegation.

The orange army left Maseru with a collaborative spirit and prepare to head deeper into the Highlands to witness the engineering marvels of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
