Last night, UJ had the privilege of welcoming L’Acadco: A United Caribbean Dance Force to Johannesburg in partnership with the High Commission of Jamaica.

More than a performance, 1 LUV was a moment of South–South exchange — bringing Africa and the Caribbean together through movement, culture and shared histories.

For us at UJ, these are the connections that matter: building meaningful relationships across the Global South and creating space for knowledge, creativity and culture to move between us.

Thank you to everyone who shared the stage, supported the partnership and joined us in the theatre.

One love. One connection. One Global South.

Out of Many, One People. 🇯🇲❤️🇿🇦
