Today in Tzaneen, Limpopo, the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies, led by Minister Solly Malatsi, is taking digital inclusion closer to communities through two important engagements focused on access, safety and empowerment.

The programme brings together GBVF Awareness & Access to Smart Devices and a Broadcasting Digital Migration (BDM) Activation, two interventions that speak directly to the importance of ensuring that technology works for everyone.

Digital access is not simply about having technology. It is about ensuring that people have the tools, information and connectivity they need to participate meaningfully in society and the digital economy.

As South Africa advances its digital transformation journey, DCDT remains committed to bridging the digital divide, expanding access and ensuring that no community is left behind.
