🏠 BUILD YOUR FUTURE IN REAL ESTATE | MASTERCLASS

Today, the Johannesburg Business School Centre for Entrepreneurship had the privilege of hosting an insightful Build Your Future in Real Estate Masterclass, in collaboration with TT Mbha.

The session provided participants with an opportunity to explore South Africa’s dynamic real estate sector, with a particular focus on the QCTO Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent (333402) and the exciting career, entrepreneurship, and income-generating opportunities within the property industry.

Our speaker, TT Mbha, shared valuable insights drawn from more than 25 years of experience across entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership and real estate. His practical perspectives highlighted the importance of building the right knowledge, skills, professional competencies and entrepreneurial mindset to succeed in the property sector.

The masterclass encouraged participants to think beyond traditional career pathways and consider how real estate can become a platform for entrepreneurship, wealth creation and sustainable income generation.

Could your social media reveal your next business opportunity?💭

That was a key question explored at yesterday’s From Pit Stop to Profit Masterclass, hosted by the JBS Centre for African Business and Internationalisation (CAB) in collaboration with Castrol.

Through the experience shared by Thabiso Mkhize, founder of Mumbo Repairs, in his case study, the conversation circled around understanding your customers' needs and turning the social media data into business insights. The conversation highlighted a simple truth: social media is more than a platform for posting; it can be a powerful source of business growth intelligence.📈

Programme director, Philasande Sokhela - PhD (Head of JBS CAB) and panellists Melanie van Straaten, Prof Adri Drotskie and Dr Thandekile Madikane further unpacked the conversation by reinforcing how Thabiso’s case study demonstrates the power of social media to help automotive businesses grow their customer base and turn digital engagement into business opportunities using social media.
