Fatima Docrat here, project manager for the IFSA (International Finance Students Association) Network’s South African chapter.
IFSA is currently organizing the BCG Cape Town International Case Competition which will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of March 2018. Students can register for the competition in teams of 2-5 members and the top 7 teams will be invited to present their solution at the Grand Final in Cape Town. The competition requires students to propose affordable solutions to housing crises, particularly related to those faced by South African communities. Students who participate will also receive exposure to the Boston Consulting Group, one of the top three consulting firms in the world!
IFSA would like to invite ABSIP members to register to participate in this competition. We think that this presents an exciting opportunity for your members to gain exposure to a case which specifically caters to their interest in finance, transformation and black empowerment, and would value having a representation from ABSIP at the Grand Final in Cape Town.
Registration is currently open for non-UCT students and closes on the 22nd of January 2018. Upon registration, teams will be provided with the case and problem set. Solutions submissions are due on the 25th of January 2018.
