Speaker Spotlight: Juliet M. Kavishe

What can African design teach us about the spaces, communities and futures we want to create?

Meet Juliet M. Kavishe, an interior architect, educator and founder of FORMALL Design Research Lab. Her work explores the relationship between material culture, craftsmanship and contemporary African expression, bringing fresh perspectives to the future of design.

As we count down to Pan Afrikan Design Week 2026, we look forward to the conversations and ideas this year’s speakers will bring to the theme: “How do we design to thrive?”

From breakdown to build-up.

Last week, we showed you the start of our rooftop renovations as the concrete was broken down. Now, it’s time for the clean-up before the next phase begins.

We’re making progress, one step at a time — and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
