Queen's College Old Boys - Gauteng We, the Foundation Branch of the QCOBA, represent Queens College Old Boys in the greater province of Gauteng. The Foundation Branch is the QCOBA Gauteng branch.

We meet every first Thursday of each month at Bryanston Sports Club to initiate Old Boy fellowship amongst Old Queenians in Gauteng. We are an active fund-raising and social branch of the QCOBA.

Johannesburg, just ONE WEEK TO GO! 🦌

We’re counting down to the very first Kudu Dinner in Johannesburg on Tuesday, 25 August - and we’re excited to reveal a few more familiar faces joining us for the evening! 🧡🖤

Joining André Vos and Queen’s College rugby royalty Kaya Malotana will be the presenters of SuperSport Schools Rugby on 216 Alex, Coach Kooks & Spoed — bringing their personalities and plenty of rugby chat to the evening.

Our MC for the night will be Dave Usendorff, who will guide us through what promises to be a fantastic evening.

Congratulations to Ncutu Kepe on his selection for the 2026 SA Schools U18 Team! An outstanding achievement and a testament to his hard work, talent and dedication!

Well done to all the players selected for the SA U18 and SA U18 “A” teams for 2026. 🔥

We can’t wait to watch the two sides go head-to-head on 16 July at Grey High School, with plenty to play for as players look to stake their claim for the upcoming U18 international series.

Dear Foundation Branch Members,

We are pleased to introduce our new quarterly travelling meeting series across Gauteng, created to make attendance easier for Old Boys who find weekday travel difficult. These four event, each hosted in a different region of Gauteng during the year and will supplement our regular monthly gatherings.

You are invited to the first of these gatherings:

Date: Saturday, 9 May
Time: 12:30 onwards
Venue: Drysdale Distillery and Events Venue (House 3, 31 High Street, Founders Hill, Modderfontein, Johannesburg, 1644)
Occasion: This meeting coincides with the Queens vs Grey PE games will be televised.
Food & Drink: A food menu will be available to order; a bar will be open for refreshments.
Guests: Family members are welcome.
Host: The venue is owned and run by Old Boy Ian Cameron (Class of 1979).

We look forward to seeing many of you there as we roll out this more accessible format across Gauteng.
