ABASA UJ Student Chapter

ABASA UJ Student Chapter Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of SA (ABASA) Est. in 1985 to promote professional interests of Black persons in the accountancy field

The objectives of the Student Chapter shall be:

1. To promote the interests of students aspiring to be accountants;
2. To embark on programmes and activities that creates access to information and opportunities for accounting students to enter the accounting profession.
3. To develop leadership and professional skills of member students at the universities.
4. To represent and address the needs a

nd academic problems affecting students at the universities on which the Student Chapter has authority.

Our carefully selected mentors had the opportunity to meet their group of mentees, who are in their first year of study at the University of Johannesburg.

The program aims to equip mentees with the knowledge and experience that mentors have gained throughout their years at the university, ensuring a successful and inspiring new chapter in their academic journey of mentees.
