Congratulations to UJ Geology's Lanco Mogudi for being awarded the Geological Society of South Africa's prestigious Corstorphine Medal for her excellent MSc dissertation! 🙌 🎉🎓

Lanco received a distinction for her MSc research on "The Paleoproterozoic Negaunee Iron Formation of the Marquette Range Supergroup in Minnesota, United States of America: A case study in post-Great Oxidation Event iron formation deposition" supervised by Prof. Bertus Smith (Department of Geology, UJ) and Prof. Jens Gutzmer (Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology).
