APPLICATIONS FOR 2027 OPEN 3 SEPTEMBER 2026

West Coast College is pleased to announce that applications for the 2027 academic year will open on 3 September 2026.

As we prepare for 2027, prospective students should take note of some important changes to our programme offerings.

For the first time, West Coast College will not be admitting new students into Report 191/NATED (N4-N6) programmes for 2027. These programmes will remain available only to returning students who are continuing with their studies at the college.

The College will also be reducing the number of National Certificate (Vocational) programmes offered as we continue to strengthen and expand our Occupational Certificate programmes, which provide students with practical, industry-relevant skills for the workplace.

TVET MONTH 2026 | WARMTH, CARE AND COMMUNITY

As part of TVET Month 2026, our Vredenburg Campus brought warmth and care to the community with a blanket donation to the Siyabonga Centre on Friday, 28 August.

The initiative reflects the spirit of TVET Month, which goes beyond skills development and highlights the important role TVET colleges play in empowering communities, creating opportunities and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Thank you to the Vredenburg Campus team for demonstrating that education is not only about what we learn, but also about how we use our skills, resources and opportunities to uplift those around us.
