Culinary Passions School of HospitalitY was envisioned in 2004 by Chef Khumalo as a way of assisting and equipping youngsters as well as previously disadvantaged individuals by offering them free training and exposing them to the industry. Training was a way of giving back to the community by Chef Khumalo who is passionate about assisting our country’s youngsters who are the leaders of tomorrow t

o fulfill their dreams which led him official registering CPP as a training School in 2007. The School has now progressed to offering internationally recognized courses at an affordable prize. In the few years that Chef Khumalo has been training these youngsters, there has been a lot of talent that has come from CPSH, Few students have found themselves working overseas and some are in top positions within South Africa. Recently one of our 1st year students scooped the first price from the mushroom competition 2010.

Important Update Regarding Cruise Job Opportunities
Greetings,

We wish to inform you that the previously scheduled interviews and prescreening process for cruise positions at Technopro in Midrand, Austin View for the 15th of September 2025, has been postponed to a later date. Unfortunately, the positions are not yet open for application.

Current Status
We have recruited a few candidates in June who are still in the process of finalizing their documentation or are on hold. We are currently seeking higher-position candidates, such as CDPs and Sous Chefs.

Important Considerations
We would like to bring to your attention that some of our CDP candidates have faced challenges with background checks and medical evaluations, particularly with regards to BMI. To increase your chances of success, we recommend maintaining a BMI below 35, ideally around 28-30.

Associated Costs
Please be aware that securing a cruise job involves various costs, including:

- Visa fees
- Medical evaluation costs
- Consultation fees

These costs are the responsibility of the candidate, and we regret that no sponsorship or financial assistance can be provided.
