Day 3 of Pan Afrikan Design Week 2026: Shaping future-ready generations.

How do we prepare the next generation to navigate uncertainty, unlock their potential and create meaningful change?

Day 3 explores the future of education and human development, from STEAM and creative intelligence to empathy, creative confidence and lifelong learning.

These conversations highlight the need to go beyond traditional education and nurture the skills, curiosity and confidence people need to shape the world around them.

Because preparing for the future isn't just about adapting to change. It's about empowering people to create it.
What will it take to develop the next generation of future-builders and changemakers?

We’re proud to see Robin Turner, Head of Graphic and Multimedia Design at AIE’s School of Art and Design, joining an international line-up of speakers at Pan Afrikan Design Week 2026.

Through the award-winning 10% Project, Robin explores how designing alongside communities and responding to real-world needs can develop the human capabilities that matter more than ever in an age of AI.

Alongside 17 other global voices, Robin will contribute to a shared conversation about design, human potential and creating more thriving futures for Afrika and the world.

How do we design to thrive? And who gets to shape the future?

What can we learn from our cultural heritage as we shape the future?

Day 1 of Pan Afrikan Design Institute Week 2026 explores how trust, identity and indigenous knowledge can influence the way we design, collaborate and build more resilient futures.

These conversations remind us that moving forward doesn’t mean leaving our roots behind. By embracing our cultural perspectives and shared knowledge, we can create new possibilities for our communities and future generations.
