Test Automation Fundamentals is a specialised, certified short programme covering the principles and techniques behind test automation, from strategy through to ex*****on.

Over virtual, workshop-style sessions, delegates work through the purpose and success factors of test automation, testware design, automation approaches and strategy, the ISTQB Generic Test Automation Architecture (GTAA), implementation methods, metrics and reporting, and tool selection and lifecycle, closing with practical tool application.

Entry requires a minimum of 6 months in a test or IT project team, or prior attendance of the FSQA programme.

Every "as is" process hides a gap between how work actually happens and how it's supposed to.

UK IT job vacancies citing IIBA qualifications carried a median annual salary of £60,000 over the six months to 28 May 2025, up 2.21% year on year, according to ITJobsWatch, with Business Process Modelling Notation named repeatedly in those listings. South African employers are hiring for the same skill.

FTI's Business Process Modelling Fundamentals course, delivered virtually nationwide, teaches BPMN, gap analysis, and "as is" to "to be" mapping across four sessions.

There's a difference between doing business analysis and being recognised for it.

IIBA's 2025 Global State of Business Analysis Report found 81% of certified analysts saw a real benefit, salary increases included, within a year of earning CBAP, and 95% would recommend the certification to others.

FTI's CBAP Certification Preparation, Level 1 B-BBEE, runs 1 September 2026: 10 sessions, virtual, instructor-led, for analysts with 7,500-plus hours of BA experience.
