Have passion, talented with photography and have a good camera,you can hire yourself out for birthdays, office functions ect. Once established you can grow your business and have a studio at home and move into doing things like portraits. Take portraits of children at school and creches. Cover graduations but not forgetting to send proposals and ask permission to these establishment first.

Are you a passionate good writer? And tired of constant rat race and deadline environment? You can work with companies by writing articles, columns, press release etc. First send your work to the editor and be sure to understand the audience and the style of the newspaper/magazine you want to freelance for.

Corporate Catering
Have the love for good healthy food and magic hands,secret recipes? You can make sandwiches, soup,muffins, etc and sell to corporate offices during tea and lunch time. Get permission first before going to the offices and make business proposals to these corporates and provide them with simply menu like platters for their specific events.Don't forget to ask for at least 50% deposit to cover for food cost.
