PERFECT TIMING | The stars have aligned for rugby supporters in Gqeberha.

The Past to Present fundraising rugby dinner on Thursday takes place just two days before the much-anticipated Springboks versus Barbarians clash in the city.

The timing creates a unique opportunity as rugby conversations will dominate boardrooms, braais and coffee shops and make the dinner the perfect place to kick off a memorable weekend.

Madibaz Rugby’s Past to Present fundraising event has been designed not only to celebrate South African rugby excellence but also to support the future of the game at Mandela University.

Every ticket purchased contributes towards opportunities for aspiring players who dream of following in the footsteps of some of the greats who will be present on Thursday evening.

The event is also a platform for business leaders and supporters to connect around shared values such as leadership, resilience, teamwork and national pride.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER | Some gatherings are simply events while others become part of our story.

Madibaz Rugby’s Past to Present fundraising dinner promises to be the latter.

It celebrates the rich heritage of South African rugby by bringing together former Springbok players, coaches and management alongside members of the current national setup for one night only this Thursday.

Held just two days before the Springboks take on the Barbarians in Gqeberha, the evening offers rugby supporters a rare opportunity to experience the game beyond the touchline.

Guests can expect insightful panel discussions, inspiring stories, networking opportunities and an auction in the company of some of the sport’s most respected figures.

Proceeds will go to the Madibaz Rugby Club to help fund its work in unearthing the next generation of talent.
