📢Publication Alert🌶️! pathology can be masked by (and vice-versa), making diagnosis and treatment extremely challenging... But a collaboration that aims to improve clinical outcomes after has found candidate that could assist in possible future diagnosis and subsequent treatment of this !

The team used for deep profiling of (an enrichment technology using magnetic SAX beads from ReSyn Biosciences, developed in the lab of Michael MacCoss) to uncover the potential biomarkers! They conclude that "EV-enriched plasma proteomics enhances biomarker discovery in polytrauma, revealing distinct pathways and greater sensitivity than whole plasma."

Congratulations to the researchers from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main, CECAD Cologne and TU Dortmund University for advancing the state of the art in and polytrauma research! We hope that these potential biomarkers will lead to improved clinical outcomes for these patients into the future.

📢Publication Alert🤩!

Great news for automated sample preparation in top-down proteomics! A new preprint by Isabella Feltenstein, from the lab of Bryon Drown at Purdue Chemistry, have adapted the on-bead protein aggregation workflows for analysis!

Using beads from ReSyn Biosciences, they optimized protocol conditions (including assessing low sample input) and their findings suggest that an on-bead aggregation workflow can offer a comparable degree of characterization as the standard methanol-chloroform-water approach, widely adopted for discovery.

Thank you for the amazing effort, and we look forward to how this approach will enable sample preparation for the TDP community!

📢 Publication Alert🌶️! Researchers from Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Sinai Health and CiMUS (Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases) show that can improve the health of your liver, independent of any weight-loss!

The extended benefits (over an above weight-loss) of semaglutide to the liver has long puzzled scientists, but no longer! improved steatosis, fibrosis, and immune remodeling in a mouse fatty liver disease model, which was attributed to semaglutide-coordinated transcriptional and protein-level reversal of the liver disease.

Thank you also to the authors María Jesús González Rellán and Daniel Drucker for taking the time to interview for the popular science article in Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News! https://www.genengnews.com/topics/translational-medicine/glp-1-drug-improves-liver-health-independent-of-weight-loss-mouse-study-finds/

Thank you for trusting from ReSyn Biosciences for your liver tissue sample preparation for analysis by ! https://www.cell.com/cell-metabolism/abstract/S1550-4131(26)00105-1

GLP-1 medicines are used to treat people with type 2 diabetes, obesity, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Here, Gonzalez-Rellan et al. demonstrate that semaglutide activates liver signaling networks orchestrated by GLP-1 receptors in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, pro...

📢 Publication alert🌶️! Congrats to the team led by the lab of Michael MacCoss, who recently demonstrated the use (with SAX from ReSyn Biosciences) for enrichment of EV's from to study the effects of monoclonal antibody therapy on the fate and function of T-cells in people with type 1 diabetes! https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.03.27.712461v1

The team used MS based proteomics of enriched serum to analyze longitudinal samples from 20 clinical trial participants to elucidate the effects of and on EV's. Analysis confirmed measurements across multiple draw dates >3300 protein groups, of which 46 protein groups had significant abundance changes after mAb treatment!

The authors conclude: "Taken together, this work demonstrates the utility of the Mag-Net method to evaluate the impacts of therapeutic interventions on serum extracellular vesicles."
