Introduction

Early identification of foetal anomalies through obstetric ultrasound scanning provides rapid and essential assistance to all clinicians. Introduction
The NIMART course has been developed as a response to the call to action by the South African Government to strengthen the response to HIV and TB epidemics and is specifically developed for and aimed at professional nurses working in the field of HIV and TB.
The 5-day course is a standalone intensive course that focuses on the management of TB, HIV and STI’s as well as strengthening counselling skills, monitoring and evaluation of HIV and TB programmes.
