What a spectacular celebration of excellence, dedication and achievement!
Tshwane North TVET College (TNC) proudly hosted its Second Annual Staff Excellence Awards Ceremony on 16 October 2026 at ACPP Hall, bringing together colleagues to celebrate the remarkable individuals and teams whose commitment, teamwork, loyalty and outstanding contributions continue to drive the College forward.
The event was a memorable occasion filled with excitement, pride, applause and jubilant celebrations as deserving colleagues took centre stage to receive recognition for their exceptional performance and years of dedicated service.
🎤 An Inspiring Message
The ceremony was graced by guest speaker Dr Boshomane, whose presence added to the significance of this prestigious occasion honouring excellence and professional achievement.
The awards ceremony recognised outstanding achievements across academic and corporate services categories.
Deputy Principal: Academic Services, Mr Consival Masithi, presented awards in the academic categories, celebrating the dedication, innovation and professional excellence of staff members who continue to make a meaningful difference in teaching, learning and student development.
Meanwhile, Deputy Principal: Corporate Affairs, Mr Lebese, honoured outstanding administrators through the Outstanding Administrators Awards, Long Service Awards and Teamwork Awards. These accolades highlighted the essential role of effective administration, collaboration and institutional support in advancing the College's mandate.
A Special Tribute to Long-Serving Leaders
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of special Long Service Awards to two esteemed campus managers, Mr JKS Toba and Mrs EM Masemola, who are preparing for retirement.
Their recognition was a heartfelt tribute to their years of dedicated service, leadership and invaluable contributions to Tshwane North TVET College. Their professional journeys stand as a testament to commitment, perseverance and service to the institution. As they approach this new chapter, the College celebrates their legacies and wishes them well in their forthcoming retirement.
The excitement reached another high point as Principal, Ms Thembi Tsibogo, presented the Principal's Special Recognition Awards to 10 outstanding members of the College who distinguished themselves in various fields of their work.
These special accolades celebrated individuals whose exceptional contributions, dedication and achievements reflect the values and aspirations of TNC. Their recognition served as a powerful reminder that excellence takes many forms and deserves to be celebrated wherever it is demonstrated.
The atmosphere was electric as award recipients proudly received their accolades, cheered on by colleagues who shared in their joy and achievement. The ceremony reaffirmed the importance of recognising hard work, inspiring high performance and fostering a culture in which excellence is valued and celebrated.
Closing the programme, Deputy Principal: Innovation and Development, Ms T Mogale, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. She also celebrated and congratulated the award recipients, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence and making meaningful contributions to the College.
