The Faculty of Science at Tshwane University of Technology proudly participated in National Science Month 2026 through an engaging outreach programme at Ikaneng Secondary School.
๐ฑ Under the theme "Science, Technology and Innovation are for Everyone", learners explored interactive exhibits and demonstrations, including those presented by the Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology.
๐ฉ๐ฟโ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฟโ๐ฌ A special highlight was the involvement of our Biotechnology and Food Technology students, who actively engaged with learners and shared their passion for science, innovation and STEM careers.
๐ก It was inspiring to see learners interacting with academics, researchers and students while discovering the many possibilities that a future in science can offer.
๐ค The programme was organised by the Faculty of Science, Tshwane University of Technology, in partnership with the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA).
