IMPORTANT UPDATE: NATED (N4–N6) PROGRAMMES BEING PHASED OUT
The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) is officially phasing out all NATED Report 191 programmes to make way for new occupational qualifications.

📌 What You Need to Know:
✅ Final enrolments for NATED programmes will take place between 2025 and 2027, depending on your N-level.
✅ The final deadline to complete a National N Diploma is 30 June 2029.
✅ If you complete your programme before 30 June 2026, you’ll receive a QCTO-accredited certificate.
✅ Those completing after 30 June 2026 will still receive a valid Statement of Results for the National N Diploma.

📅 Key Teach-Out Dates:
🔧 Engineering Studies:
• N4 – Last intake: Trimester 1, 2026
• N5 – Last intake: Trimester 3, 2026
• N6 – Last intake: Trimester 2, 2027

📚 Business Studies:
• N4 – Last intake: Semester 2, 2025
• N5 – Last intake: Semester 2, 2026
• N6 – Last intake: Semester 2, 2027

📝 What You Should Do:
If you’re currently registered or planning to study a NATED course, plan your studies wisely. Complete your N4–N6 and apply for your National N Diploma before June 2029 to avoid missing out.
