Today, Westcol - TVET College's Krugersdorp West Campus celebrated 191 students who were awarded Cisco Networking Academy Certificates.

The campus celebrated a significant student achievement where 191 students were awarded Cisco Networking Academy Certificates during a special ceremony held on campus. The recepients compromised of 136 LSCL L2 students and 55 LSCL L3 students, who completed the relevant Cisco Networking Academy learning activities.
The ceremony recognised the students' commitment to developing essential digital, computer literacy and networking skills, while highlighting the importance of equipping TVET students with relevant skills for the modern world of work.

The achievement was a proud and motivating moment for the students, lecturers and the entire campus community.

Campus Management congratulated all 191 students on this outstanding achievement and encouraged them to remain committed to their studies, embrace lifelong learning and even strive for even greater success in their future academic, professional and entrepreneurial journeys.

TVET DAY CELEBRATION
Today, Westcol - TVET College celebrated TVET Month through its Open Day and Try-A-Skills activities, supporting the national transition to Occupational Programmes. The College welcomed about 1,000 learners from schools across the West Rand District Municipality, along with exhibitors from both the public and private sectors to its Krugersdorp West Campus.

Throughout the day, learners toured the campus, engaged with exhibitors, and explored the College's skills workshops, where they experienced live demonstrations in robotics, electrical engineering, hospitality, hairdressing, and other occupational fields.
