📢 Chief Albert Luthuli Campus is gearing up for the Entrepreneurship Competition!

To prepare for the upcoming College Entrepreneurship Competition scheduled for 4 June, CAL hosted its campus entrepreneurship competition, yesterday.

The competition showcased students’ creativity, innovation and business potential, while also providing a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their ideas and sharpen their presentation skills.

Mandeni Campus combated GBV by conducting an infotaining GBV and Bullying Awareness Programme mainly for students today.

The awareness aimed to address the importance of social issues affecting youngsters. The session addressed alcohol abuse, gender-based violence awareness, reproductive health and crime awareness.

It mpowered and encouraged students to make responsible decisions, seek support when needed and contribute towards creating a safer and healthier campus environment for all.

We're pleased to share an exciting Work Readiness Programme opportunity for IT graduates, piloted successfully by GIZ. 💻✨

The programme aims to equip IT alumni with practical workplace skills through:
• Mock interview preparation
• Exposure to online workplace tools
• Assistance with creating professional online profiles
• Workplace readiness guidance and support

Feedback from the pilot programme has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants highlighting the confidence and practical value gained through the sessions.

GIZ has now expressed interest in extending the programme to partner colleges, including uMfolozi TVET College.

We encourage all suitable IT alumni to register and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
