Meet the graduates of the FNB Sustainability Academy, powered by IBTC.

We spent two days of celebrating a significant investment in the people helping to shape the bank’s approach to sustainability.

Banks have enormous influence through the businesses they finance and the decisions they help clients make. FNB recognises that leading the way in sustainability means keeping its own people ahead of developments, so they can help their clients stay ahead too.

The academy brought together global content and local expertise through self-paced learning, on-site classes and roundtable discussions with local and international speakers. From solar and water to agriculture and client transition, participants explored what sustainability means for the businesses they support, finishing with a case study to put their learning into practice.

We’re proud to have helped FNB build this academy alongside. Seeing this group graduate was a moment worth celebrating.

Congratulations to all 60 graduates, and to FNB for backing its commitment to sustainability with an investment in its people.

Meet Fuzail, Kian and Lerato. 👋

They recently swapped the classroom for a behind-the-scenes look at Africa Data Centres in Cape Town.

The site visit forms part of our DCCA I programme, combining Schneider Electric University's Data Centre Certified Associate course with a walk-through of a working data centre.

Lerato is also currently completing an internship at the facility, making her the unofficial tour expert for the day.

A great opportunity to see how everything works in the real world.
