The Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development is a tertiary level academy, situated at the University of Johannesburg (Soweto Campus). It offers an inspiring and innovative six month, full time programme in entrepreneurial development. The course is directed at young aspiring

entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are passionate about business and personal development. The Academy strives to help young people rise above their social, financial and academic constraints to achieve a quality education in entrepreneurship.

Jewellery extraordinaire Nothukela Mkalipi, who owns UThukela’s Ocean Jewellery Manufacturing will be giving a great talk on her Entrepreneurial journey on Thursday the 6th of Oct at 10:00 at UJ Hosted by the Raymond Ackerman Academy. Nothukela has achieved great feats and won and outstanding Business Award from BMW in her business endeavor. She has had a profound impact on those around her including her 300 clients. One can only wonder what further milestones this young ambitious lady is set to achieve.
