Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme (2027-2028)
Deadlines: 27 July 2026 at 15:00 GMT
Funded by the Irish Government and delivered by the Embassy of Ireland in South Africa, the Fellowship offers early- to mid-career South African professionals a fully funded opportunity to complete a one-year master's at a leading Irish university — with tuition, flights, accommodation and living costs covered.

Beyond the qualification, the Programme is about leadership: developing the next generation of changemakers equipped to advance the Sustainable Development Goals in their own communities. Strengthening women's leadership and participation in STEM is a core priority, and we particularly encourage applications from graduates of Universities of Technology and historically disadvantaged institutions.

If you, or someone in your network, holds a bachelor's/honours degree (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0), has leadership ambitions, and does not yet hold a master's, this could be a defining next step.

HOW TO APPLY:
Applications should be submitted via: Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme – Canon Collins Trust
