Dear Residents
NWU & VUT EXAMS
Students, academics, future technocrats and over and above, future leaders, receive our greetings in the name of academia.
We are now near the corridors of the examinations that which obviously are the overall tests of what we have covered during the academic challenging first semester. With that being said, we will be tested if we are fit or not just like a car is tested if it is road worthy or not. In light of the latter, the preparation for the test(exam) should be filed with vitamins, proteins and all the ingredients leading to accomplishments. That is to say, we must study. Remember do not study hard but smart.
"Do not feed a pig on its market day because it will vomit". The latter figuratively and literally says, do not study few hours before writing because, you might encounter mind block and may other negative remnants of not studying in the right time. Give yourself (if needs be), a break from social life and many other distractions to what should make you progress. When a farmer starts planting seeds, he awaits to reap what he has sown and as a result, he makes a living out of the results so, do what will make you proud of you tomorrow. The roots of education are bitter but the fruit is sweet.
In majority, we come from troubled/disadvantaged backgrounds and when we applied in this infrastructure of education, as soon as we got accepted, in dreams and fantasies we foresaw the changes we would bring about at/in our homes. In light of this, what i am trying to say is, our backgrounds circumstances should be our lifetime motivation. Back home, our parents are bragging about us being here and our neighbors back home are pi**ed by that. The choices are, do we choose to make neighbors happy or do we seek to keep our parents happy? An academic like you will take a sober choice in this choice question.
There is no luck in academia therefore i cannot wish you luck. If you did not prepare then the outcomes will reflect BUT i will just wish you justice. What i mean is, may Justice prevail, may the reflection of your preparation be flamboyant on the outcomes. May your self-discipline fight procrastination and all other distractions in your academia.
Let the nation arise, let the nation flourish.
