Dear Students
Kindly take note that the SRC had intended to convene an urgent Mass Meeting to report out from office and to discuss issues which are prevailing in our Institution particularly in Welkom Campus, precisely around Assessments and Registrations, and Finances. As we are quite aware that most of the student have not participated in the mid-year examinations and as a result, were unable to register and some of the students, are still having financial crisis with NSFAS and the institution as is entrusted to distribute Student's allowances accordingly.
We are therefore challenged by fairly minor setbacks from the office of the Registrar which seeks to suggest that the current SRC is not legible to sustain the status of representing the students, furthermore, it was stated that the SRC members serving in the SRC are ineligible to continue serving due to academic legibility.
The situation is indeed severe, and in situations like this, we need to be more vigilance and tactic in approach.
We just need to bring this factore to your attention.
