Grade 10 tennis ace Sofia Kamalie clinched doubles titles at KZN Mini 5 and 6, an U16 singles title, and won six of seven matches as No.1 for eThekwini A at the Inter-District Tournament.

🚗🔥 WHAT A WHEELIE GOOD DAY AT STAR COLLEGE! 🔥🚗

What a driving force of a day! 😎☀️ Star College was revving with excitement this weekend as our Car Show brought together an incredible collection of cars, passionate car lovers and a whole lot of horsepower!

With the sun shining, the cars gleaming and plenty of wax-on, wax-off action ✨🚘, there was something for every petrolhead and electrichead to admire! From stunning classics to impressive modern rides - including electric, our car enthusiasts certainly stepped up their game.

A huge shout-out to the amazing Ezee Cars team and the KZN Classic Car Club, along with all the individuals who brought their pride and joy along for the day. Your support really put the pedal to the metal and helped make the event a roaring success! 🏁👏

Principal Ahmet Kayya also had the honour of handing over certificates of appreciation to members of the KZN Classic Car Club in recognition of their wonderful support of Star College and this initiative. 🏆

It was a day of good vibes, great rides and plenty of horsepower! ❤️

From classics that never go out of style to cars that had everyone saying “WOW!” — this was one event that definitely shifted into top gear! 🚗💨

🎓✨ PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE | GRADE 9 SUBJECT SELECTION✨🎓

This weekend, Star College High School hosted an important Grade 9 Subject Selection Meeting for our learners and their parents — a pivotal step as our learners prepare to enter the FET Phase of their schooling journey.

Choosing the right subjects is about more than simply deciding what to study in Grade 10. 📚 These choices can play an important role in keeping doors open to a wide range of university courses and future career pathways.

We were privileged to have representatives from a number of universities join us and share valuable insights into the courses and programmes they offer, as well as the subject requirements learners need to consider when planning for their tertiary studies. 🎓

It was an informative and successful day, filled with meaningful conversations and important guidance for both learners and parents.

At Star College, we believe in equipping our students and parents with as much knowledge and information as possible, empowering our learners to make informed decisions and giving them the direction they need as they work towards their tertiary education and future careers. 🌟

Today’s informed choices help shape tomorrow’s opportunities.
