We are back

Let’s normalize educating young girls about their bodies and their private parts. 💜

We cannot expect children to protect themselves from abuse if we never teach them what is appropriate and what is not.

Teach girls that their bodies belong to them. Teach them the proper names for their body parts, including their private parts, and help them understand that no one has the right to touch their private parts, look at them, or ask them to show them to anyone—especially in secret.

Most importantly, teach them about the difference between good secrets and bad secrets. If someone touches them inappropriately, threatens them, gives them something in exchange for keeping quiet, or tells them, “This is our little secret,” they should know that they must speak to a trusted adult.

Let’s teach our girls that they will never be in trouble for speaking up. Believe them. Listen to them. Protect them. And never blame them for what someone else did to them.

A child should never have to carry the burden of protecting an adult’s secret.

Let’s raise girls who know their bodies, understand their boundaries, recognise unsafe behaviour, and have the confidence to SPEAK UP.

Educate. Empower. Protect. 💜
