Meet Victor Pakeni, faithfully serving as a church planter in Katete Village Northern Zambia.

For the past three years, Victor has lived along the shores of Lake Tanganyika shepherding this young church. Ministry efforts include teens and youth ministry, discipleship, and The Gospel Team evangelism ministry. He is passionate about equipping believers to read and study the Bible for themselves, trusting that a deeper understanding of God's Word will help the gospel reach future generations.

He has been encouraged to see the Lord at work as people respond to the gospel, grow in obedience to Christ, and begin sharing the hope of the gospel with others. Seeing believers mature in their faith and actively serve in ministry is a continual reminder of God's faithfulness.

Despite the challenges of ministering in a community where many still place their trust in witchcraft and African Traditional Religion, Victor remains committed to faithfully proclaiming God's Word and pointing people to Christ.

Please pray that God would continue to grant him wisdom, grace, and endurance in ministry, and that the Lord would produce lasting spiritual fruit and continued growth within the church.
