HAPPY 62ND INDEPENDENCE DAY, ZAMBIA! ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Today, 24th October 2026, the University of Zambia School of Humanities and Social Sciences Association (UNZAHSSA) joins the nation in celebrating 62 years of freedom, unity, peace, and resilience.

As we reflect on our journey since independence in 1964, let us honour the sacrifices of our forefathers by remaining committed to building a peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous Zambia. Our independence reminds us that national development is a shared responsibility that requires unity, responsible leadership, hard work, and active citizen participation.

As students and future leaders, we recognise the important role young people play in shaping Zambiaโ€™s future through education, innovation, good governance, and community service.

May we continue to embrace our diversity, reject division, and work together towards a brighter future for generations to come.
