πΏπ² HAPPY 62ND INDEPENDENCE DAY, ZAMBIA! πΏπ²
A Message from the Kopaline University Student Council
As Zambia celebrates 62 years of independence, the Kopaline University Student Council joins the rest of the nation in commemorating this important milestone in our country's history.
On 24th October, we reflect on the sacrifices, courage, and determination of those who fought for our freedom. Independence is more than a celebration of our past; it is a reminder of our responsibility to shape the future of our beloved nation.
What does independence mean to young people?
To the young people of Zambia, independence is a call to action. It reminds us that the future of our country rests, in part, in our hands. We must recognise that the freedom we enjoy today comes with the responsibility to contribute positively to our communities and our nation.
As students and future leaders, we are encouraged to: πΏπ² Embrace education and innovation as tools for national development. πΏπ² Promote unity and peace beyond our differences. πΏπ² Become responsible and accountable leaders who serve with integrity. πΏπ² Create opportunities through entrepreneurship, creativity, and hard work. πΏπ² Participate actively in national development by offering ideas and solutions to the challenges facing our communities.
Our generation must understand that the Zambia we desire cannot be built by words alone, but through action, responsibility, and a shared commitment to progress.
As the Kopaline University Student Council, we believe that every student has a role to play in building a united, innovative, and empowered Zambia. Let us use our education, talents, and abilities to contribute to a future where every young person has an opportunity to thrive.
Happy 62nd Independence Day, Zambia! πΏπ²
May we continue to stand together in unity, serve with purpose, and work towards a brighter future for our nation.
One Zambia, One Nation!
