History and International Studies Student Scoops Coveted Award
In keeping with the institution’s winning values, Midlands State University’s History and International Studies student, Taona Chidoni was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Annual Overall Best Worker of the Year 2017’ award by the Central Vehicle Registration (CVR), whilst on Work-Related-Learning at the organisation.
According to the selection process, for an individual to be eligible for the worker of the year award, he or she must have a proven commitment to quality and be in continuous pursuit of excellence in the realm of customer satisfaction.
Commenting on Chidoni’s award, the Executive Dean of Arts, Dr T. Mashingaidze said, ‘the Faculty is very proud of such accomplishments by the students on Work-Related-Learning. This testifies to the quality of our teaching and grooming. It is a seal of approval by prospective employers of our graduates’.
Many Midlands State University students receive awards whilst on Work-Related-Learning and Chidoni joins that company as the latest recipient of the Best Worker of the Year Award.
‘The Worker of the Year Award is a great form of recognition conferred by any organisation. Recipients must have made a demonstrable and positive contribution to their fields of operation over a significant period of time, said Taona Chidoni.
The awards were funded by Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development.
