Hope Restored: Christopher Chaduka’s Journey from O-Level to Best Graduating Student

For Christopher Chaduka, the journey to achieving his academic dreams was not easy. After completing his Ordinary Level, he proceeded to Advanced Level, hoping to continue to university. However, his plans were disrupted when his A-Level results could not be found, leaving him uncertain about his future.

His hope was restored when his mother introduced him to Trust Academy, where he discovered an opportunity to pursue a diploma using his O-Level qualifications. He enrolled for the Diploma in Networking and PC Engineering, offered in collaboration with Midlands State University (MSU).
Through hard work and determination, Christopher successfully completed his studies and graduated as the Best Graduating Student, turning his setbacks into a remarkable success story.

“My dream has come true. I am so grateful that I have managed to graduate. My mum introduced me to Trust Academy. Special thanks to Trust Academy and all my lecturers who contributed so much to my success,” he said.
His mother also expressed her joy, saying, “I am so happy that my son has made it. It was not easy, but you would always find him reading what they call kuGhoster kk.”

Christopher’s story demonstrates that O-Level qualifications can open doors to further education and help students work towards their academic dreams. Through its diploma programs and university collaborations, Trust Academy continues to provide alternative pathways for students to build successful futures.
His journey is a reminder that when one door closes, another can open. With determination and the right opportunity, hope can be restored, dreams can come true, and setbacks can become stepping stones to success.

Trust Academy Calls for Greater Investment in Learners’ Talents and Aspirations

Trust Academy has urged parents to invest in their children’s talents, abilities and future aspirations, emphasising the importance of looking beyond academic performance to nurture well-rounded learners.

The call was made by Trust Academy’s Public Relations and Corporate Affairs Officer, Mr B. Mangere, who was Guest of Honor at Harvard Academy’s Speech and Prize-Giving Day. The ceremony celebrated achievements in academics, sports and leadership, recognising learners who demonstrated dedication and excellence.

Addressing parents and students, Mr B. Mangere highlighted the importance of identifying and developing children’s unique abilities, including talents in sport, public speaking, dancing and other creative pursuits.

“Your child is your greatest and most sacred investment,” he said, encouraging parents to work closely with schools to help learners discover their strengths, build confidence and make informed decisions about their futures.
He also urged families to explore educational and career pathways that align with learners’ interests and aspirations.

In support of this vision, Trust Academy promotes alternative routes to further education through diploma programs offered in partnership with Midlands State University (MSU), Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) and Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). Subject to entry requirements, these programs provide eligible students with opportunities to gain qualifications and develop skills for their chosen careers.

Through career guidance, Trust Academy helps prospective students explore available options and make informed decisions about their educational journeys.

The academy’s participation in the event reinforced the importance of collaboration between parents and schools in nurturing talent, broadening educational opportunities and empowering learners to turn their aspirations into achievements.
