YARDSC is a nonpartisan students movement established to decolonize the minds of students which have been subjected to many injustices for too long to an extent of accepting the wrong as a normal way of life. YARDSC is a students movement towards emancipation of all higher and tertiary students all over Zimbabwe and also regionally so as
to enable students to use their _intellectual power to fight against the current ACADEMIC OPPRESSIONS & ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS._
*WHY YARDSC??*

1) the current SRCs are failing to uphold the basic principle of democracy i.e *'the people leading must be accountable and report back to the people they represent'*
2) there is *non involvement of students in both institutional and national policy formulation*
3) continued *violation of students rights*
4)the ever increasing *academic oppression and mismanagement of resources* by institutional authorities
