We are excited to invite qualified individuals to apply for the position of Research and Publications Officer. At IOU, research and publication is an important activity. This is a demanding role requiring a strategic, methodical and organized approach to performing diversified responsibilities.

Qualifications:
MA in Islamic Studies or in any discipline of Social Sciences or Humanities with strong Islamic background
Additional relevant qualification and higher level of relevant computer skills would be advantageous

Experience:
At least five years of experience in editing, proofreading, typesetting/formatting, and publishing of academic documents
Additional experience on managing projects related to publications desirable

Skills:
Excellent (native/near native) written and verbal skills in English
Fluency in Arabic desirable
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work well under pressure
