PTEEL approach is a method that u use in essay writing as far as literature is concerned
-it is used in poetry, drama and even prose
*Technique/Style*
Whenever you're writing a paragraph, always know this, technique is the vehicle that carries the message
- So if it's a vehicle that carries message, it means ur message must be embedded within the technique
*Premise of argument*
It is a claim extracted from a situation
Understand the situation first before extracting a premise of argument
For example, "Martha is beaten by Freddy" that is the situation
Your claim is Freddy is abusive
Soon after ur explanation u venture into what we call readers response or personal evaluation
*Evidence*
It must be taken from the text
For your paragraph to be wholesome at least take two pieces of evidence
Makesure when sitting u qoute differently
*Explanation*
U are now qualifying your premise of argument
U are now showing how the premise is answering the question
*Link*
U are now linking everything to the question through reiteration
U are asked to repeat one or two words in the question
Show that ur paragraph had clearly answered the question by reverting back to the question
U can also link using personal evaluation, apart from linking everything to the question
*Quoting Methods*

-Whatever you are commenting on is on the effectiveness of style in bringing or evoking, unraveling or portraying the sense.
