The Zimbabwe Congress of Students Union (ZICOSU) MSU Zvishavane Chapter would like to officially express its full endorsement and unwavering support for the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3.

As a progressive student body committed to national development, constitutional strengthening, and inclusive governance, we believe this amendment is a crucial step towards enhancing the effectiveness of our legal and political systems. It reflects the aspirations of the people and aligns with President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa vision of achieving an upper middle income Economy by 2030 (Vision 2030) and building a more responsive and resilient Zimbabwe.

We therefore call upon all students and stakeholders to familiarize themselves with the provisions of this amendment and to stand in support of this important legislative development.

This major policy victory sets a precedent that should now be extended to all other universities in Zimbabwe, further exemplifying “responsive governance” in achieving this outcome.
