ECHO Joint Field Visit to FIED Inclusive Center in Egbekaw, Mamfe Central

We were honored to host a joint field monitoring visit with ECHO, UNICEF, IRC, and NRC to the FIED-constructed inclusive learning center in Egbekaw, Mamfe Central.

The mission provided a valuable opportunity to jointly assess progress, discuss challenges, and strengthen collaboration for effective program implementation across the South West Region.

It was also a moment for FIED to demonstrate our deep community presence, acceptance, and experience in delivering inclusive humanitarian interventions in hard-to-reach areas.

The visit was highly successful, thanks to the dedication of the FIED field team and the strong partnership of our donors and partners.

Our sincere gratitude to ECHO, UNICEF, NRC, IRC, US Embassy Yaounde, FIFA Foundation, Education Cannot Wait (ECW), UNESCO, and Street Child Cameroon* for their continued trust and support to inclusive education in crisis.

The presence of donors alongside our team within the community significantly enhances trust and confidence among the beneficiaries we serve.

In this regard, , in collaboration with , recently conducted a joint field visit to Teke village in the Kumba III Sub-Division of the Meme Division. This visit provided our donors with the opportunity to engage directly with community members and the children benefiting from the Temporary Learning Space (TLS). This facility was constructed and equipped by FIEDwith technical support from UNICEF and funding from the Union (ECHO).

Through this intervention, the children of Teke will continue to learn in a safe and protective environment.
