The first edition of the HIMS Ex-Student Association gathering was successfully held yesterday July 25, 2026 at the HIMS Buea campus, bringing together alumni from the 2008 to 2025 batches.

The meeting marked a significant step in uniting former students across generations in a shared commitment to growth, collaboration, and institutional pride.

Discussions centered on defining the association’s vision, mission, and core objectives, with a strong emphasis on building a supportive and inclusive network.

The association is open to all former HIMS students, both within Cameroon and in the diaspora, creating a platform for connection, mentorship, and collective advancement.

This inaugural meeting set a promising foundation for a vibrant and impactful alumni community dedicated to strengthening ties and contributing meaningfully to the future of HIMS.

HIMS Buea is delighted to announce the 22 winners who correctly predicted the two teams that would play in the World Cup final (Spain vs Argentina). Their accurate predictions have earned them recognition in this exciting 100,000fcfa scholarship-linked contest.

The winners are invited to enjoy the 100,000FCFA scholarship opportunity by fulfilling the following conditions:

The first phase of the HIMS Buea Jamboree is designed to expose learners to practical business wisdom by bringing in seasoned entrepreneurs who can share real-world experience. In this phase, figures such as Mr. Churchill Mambe, cofounder and CEO of Buyam, and Akwo A Ngwashie, CEO of Nkwa App, engage the learners on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the realities of building and sustaining a business.
This opening segment of the jamboree creates a valuable learning environment where students can hear directly from successful business leaders about the opportunities and challenges in the entrepreneurial journey. Through their talks, the learners gain insight into business strategy, leadership, problem-solving, customer needs, and the persistence required to grow an idea into a successful venture.
