Too many creative brains in one room 👀❤️

It was a pleasure to welcome Sujith Sukumaran, Director of PlayStation Hero Project - India and MENA, to 2024 Studios.

The conversation was an opportunity to take a closer look at our journey as a studio, from the challenges we encounter while developing games to the way we approach our work and performance.

We were also honored to host his meetings with Ahmed Alaa, CEO of Cryptyd, and Ziad, CEO of Tafra, welcoming both to 2024 Studios for valuable conversations about game development in Egypt and the MENA region.

We also had the chance to get hands-on feedback from Sujith after he played both our upcoming titles Project-Robot and Tales of Khayaal.

Thank you, Sujith, Ahmed and Ziad, for spending the day with us. It was a pleasure having you at 2024 Studios, and we look forward to continuing the conversation. 🤝🎮

There has always been something special about gathering the community building Egypt’s game industry in the same room.

We were happy to welcome fellow indies & game studios alongside Sujith Sukumaran to 2024 Studio for a day of shared perspectives and exploring where our paths might cross.

A strong game development ecosystem is built through connections. The more studios know each other, the more opportunities there are to build together.

The exchange of views on the realities of making games in Egypt and throughout the wider MENA region was valuable, and it also highlighted the opportunities that lie in store for the local game development ecosystem.

We’re here to help bring the egyptian game development scene closer together. 🤝🎮

For anyone starting out in the field, Game Jams are an excellent opportunity for creativity. Don't hesitate to attend & take the time to participate.

These young people from Cairo university are not only taking an initiative to host a jam, they have also designed a curriculum, a batch has already graduated, and they have now been accredited by the university.
Each of the activity organizers is a student (or alumnus) whose main motivation is a love for the game development industry and a desire to help support it in Egypt.

It's so good to see game dev & game design curriculums are getting used to have among multiple universities in Egypt recently.
