Team Eurus finished 5th overall and has been recognised for the Best Design Report in ISWTC 2026.
While we still harbored higher ambitions, not even having the sky as our limit, we are immensely proud of the effort put in throughout the season and all the midnight oil burned to build a top-notch wind turbine from the ground up.

It was this relentless drive for excellence that pushed everyone on the team to give their absolute maximum, balancing academic performance with technical mastery.

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this milestone possible, especially our families, faculty, and sponsors!

Sometimes, the greatest victories aren’t on the podium.

While we didn’t take home the top trophy at the International Small Wind Turbine Contest, we at Team Eurus are walking away with our heads held high. Designing and building a wind turbine from scratch is a massive engineering challenge, and our machine proved its worth when it mattered most. It remained rock-solid, resisting intense vibrations and demonstrating its structural integrity under pressure while completing the entire power curve across the full wind speed range.

Hard luck, Team Eurus! We are immensely proud of what we accomplished, and we’re already looking forward to coming back stronger, smarter, and faster next time.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors, whose contributions were instrumental in bringing this project to life. We look forward to future collaborations with you.

A scintillating moment for Eurus! We are honoured to be crowned third place at the 3rd Zewail City Innovation Exhibition, where teams showcased their graduation projects and their developed products.
The Eurus small-scale HAWT wind turbine was one of the stellar performers of the exhibition, marking the top-notch capabilities of our team in upholding engineering excellence
