Non-Uniform Day Fundraiser 🎉

We’re having a Non-Uniform Day on Friday 25th September 2026 to raise funds for Cian's Kennels.

Students can wear their own clothes for the day and bring in €2 per person.

All money raised will go to Cian’s Kennels and help support the great work they do. ❤️

Thanks to everyone for getting involved and supporting a great cause!

Well done to first-year student Noah Roche who represented Longford in the U14 Art Final at the Cairn Community Games All-Ireland Finals last weekend.

Noah finished an excellent 5th in Ireland.

📢 Introducing TYRO – Our New School Communication App

We are pleased to introduce TYRO, our new school communication app for parents and guardians.

Through TYRO, parents/guardians will be able to:

✅ View their child’s attendance
✅ Submit absence requests
✅ View their child’s timetable
✅ View assessments and other relevant academic information

📱 Going forward, TYRO will be our main method of communication with parents and guardians, so it is important that all parents/guardians download and access the app.

🎉 A very warm welcome to our new 1st Year Class of 2026! 🎉

Today we welcomed our new 1st Years to the school as they begin their journey with us. They began the morning with welcome addresses from Principal Ms Nic Dhonnacha and Year Head Ms Connally before getting started with their Induction Programme.

It was great to see everyone settling in, meeting new classmates and getting to know their new school.

We hope you all enjoyed your first day and we look forward to seeing you settle into school life over the coming weeks. 💙

🍀 Leaving Cert Results Day - Friday 21st August 🍀

Wishing all our Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied students the very best of luck with your results on Friday.

The school will be open on Friday from 11:00am to 12:30pm for guidance and support.

Please remember to bring your student portal login details with you.

Students are also reminded that communication regarding results has been sent via Microsoft Teams.
