Last week we were out combining our winter barley! Nothing better in such super conditions, with a decent crop coming in at 14% moisture.

Our spring born suckler calves are certainly enjoying the weather, and are really thriving- evidence of years of great breeding evident 🙌

Last week we celebrated the retirement of Richard Hamilton; after 51 years of working, teaching, and guiding our students.
We couldn't be more thankful for all the years of service from Richard, and he is a key figure of our history- we know many of you will have you own fond memories and stories, all which reflect the wonderful person he is.

Happy Retirement Richard- you deserve it!

Currently two of our students are out proudly representing Ireland in the European AgroChallenges, competing against teams from across Europe in a range of practical agricultural skills.

Some of their challenges include machine operation, seed identification, and assembling hydraulic and water systems- showcasing their technical knowledge, teamwork skills, and problem solving abilities.

We couldn't be prouder of Martin and Eilis, and the Teagasc Kildalton College duo of Ellen and Mitch- Go Team Ireland!! 🥳🙌🙌🇮🇪
