Well done to our 1st Year Boys’ Soccer team on their hard-fought 2-1 win over a strong Coláiste Íde agus Iosef side yesterday! The boys showed great teamwork and determination, holding their nerve through an early penalty and battling right to the final whistle to secure their first win of the Munster Shield. A brilliant effort from everyone involved! Well done 👏

Borrisokane CC U15 hurlers have qualified for the U15 B County Final after comprehensive wins in the quarter and semi finals. On 7th October the boys put on a great display of hurling to record a dominant win against Nenagh CBS at Borrisokane. In the semi final they faced a tougher test against Thurles CBS and got off to the worst possible start by conceding 2 goals in the first 5 minutes. However, the boys rallied and put in a superb performance to run out deserving winners on a scoreline of 3.17 to.3.05. They will now play Carrick CBS in the final.

From 14th-16th of November, 5th year student Ben Kennedy travelled to Strasbourg along with 23 other students to visit the European parliament. During that time, students got the opportunity to engage in debates and workshops, and speak to different decision-makers on issues that affect young people in Europe. They also got the chance to tour Strasbourg, and Heidelberg in Germany, and visit many landmarks in both cities.

This trip was thanks to Graduate.ie, whose aim is to educate secondary school students on the workings of local and European government.
