Every Tuesday afternoon, our First Year Fashion Design with Promotion students step into the role of creative directors, photographers, content creators and front of the camera work, working collaboratively to plan and coordinate promotional photoshoots in our photographic studio 📸✨ as part of their Photography Studio module.

Delivered by (thanks for the pics) and work delivered also by each team explored concept development, styling, set design, and shoot management, bringing their ideas to life through hands-on, industry-focused practice.

Our students recently stepped into the world of Westeros Studio Tour, Banbridge, exploring the incredible costumes, sets and props that brought one of television’s most iconic series to life.
Seeing over 150 original screen-worn costumes up close gave students a unique insight into the craftsmanship behind costume design. Led by award-winning designer Michele Clapton, the costumes were created by a team of artisans including leather workers, textile specialists and embroiderers (including our own Donegal and our amazing course guest speaker ) using kilometres of fabric to craft garments rich in symbolism and detail
For students interested in costume, fashion and screen design, the visit highlighted how clothing can communicate character, status and storytelling on screen. From intricate embroidery to dramatic silhouettes, the exhibition offered real inspiration for the next generation of designers.
