🎄 DON’T WASTE CHRISTMAS – 2ND EDITION! 🎄

Hey NCU CM Students! ❤️
Before leaving for the Christmas break, make sure to check your fridges and cupboards! If you have any food you won’t finish in time, don’t throw it away!

CM Student Government is launching the second edition of their campaign “Don’t Waste Christmas”, encouraging you to donate food to local community fridges in Bydgoszcz. This way:
✨ nothing goes to waste,
✨ and the food reaches people who truly need it.

👉 How can you help?
• Donate products from your fridge and cupboards that you won’t take with you.
• Add something extra if you can - every contribution makes a difference.
• Share the info - the more people join, the bigger impact we can make!

Let’s create a warm holiday spirit together and share what we have. 💛

🎄 Invite an IP or ED Student for Christmas!
Christmas is the perfect time to share not only food and traditions – but also culture and hospitality. This year, you can invite an international student who is staying in Poland for the holidays to your home. It’s a great opportunity to introduce them to Polish Christmas traditions, learn about their customs, and build meaningful intercultural connections.

👥 Who are IPs and EDs?

IPek (IP) – an international student studying at the NCU Toruń campus (International Point).

EDek (ED) – a student studying in English at the NCU Collegium Medicum (English Division).

🤝 Why join?
Hosting a student for Christmas Eve or Christmas dinner is a wonderful chance to integrate, break stereotypes, and create friendships that may last long after the holidays. The campaign is open to NCU students, staff members, and their families.

📅 Important dates:

15 December – deadline for applications.

16 December – matching of “host–guest” pairs.

17 December – participants receive confirmation and further details.

✨ International Students’ Day 2025 ✨
17 November we celebrated with a series of hands-on workshops for our students! 💙
Students could join sessions such as:
🔬 From drop to diagnosis: peripheral blood smear
🌬️ Breathing is worth its weight in gold – how you can do it?
✂️ Surgical suturing
❤️ Introduction to advanced life support
🩻 Basics of point-of-care ultrasonography
The workshops were very well received, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis. We know how much our students appreciate additional practical training, so we’re glad we could make it happen! 🙌
A huge thank to all our teachers and to every student who took part — your energy and enthusiasm made this day special! 💙✨
